sustainability is awareness

Sustainability may seem like just a word, but it hides an entire world within itself. Being sustainable means having to heart your life, the places where it takes place – traveling or having your roots – and the people with whom you share it.
Sustainability is synonymous with respect. It means being able to express your own talent and at the same time to be able to listen to that of others with the same enthusiasm; to marvel at the beauty of nature and make sure that as many people as possible will have the opportunity to enjoy it, just as you did. It means not making too much noise, to let those who are still sleeping have good dreams; it means to touch the beauty gently and don’t let it get ruined so that other eyes can admire it; it means to tell about the thousand sides of diversity and make other minds curious, giving them the opportunity to grow. It means actively contributing to the creation of a culture of respect.

Sustainability is awareness. Awareness of self and one’s own actions. We should make sustainability our daily life, not our mission. Because every mission implies a goal, sometimes difficult or impossible to achieve, while sustainability should be within us and it should find expression in our every gesture and thought. Let’s grow it carefully at home, and let’s not forget it when we leave. Let’s take it with us on every trip, let’s make it part of every experience.
Sustainability is not a choice, but an essential condition. We must share this vision as the only one possible and the only one that respects life. As the famous artist, Andy Warhol said, “having the land and not ruining it is the most beautiful form of art you could wish for. “
