green hole – Green catering in the centre of Rome

Today guest at Effei Journal Green Hole Roma, where fusion food, entertainment and responsible awareness meet in an indoor space in the centre of the capital.

“Green Hole Roma is the first concept store in Italy where people are completely immersed in nature in an indoor space.

Conceived by Giuliano Lombardozzi, a Roman entrepreneur born in 93, with a passion for nature, sport and life, who grew up in event organisation. Inaugurated in 2021 in the midst of a global pandemic, in the same year @greenhole.roma was the most followed account in Italy among restaurant formats and today has more than 32 thousand followers.

Wood and natural plants are the only backdrop in which to enjoy quality dishes, with total respect for the landscape. In fact, the company has an eco-friendly approach in its delivery packaging, its cutlery is entirely washable and the kitchen itself focuses on vegetarian and other products.

It offers gourmet fusion gastronomy, making care and protection of the environment its own strong points.

Green Hole’s Fusion Experience brings together flavours and cultures from all over the world, selecting the best specialities on the Italian market and fusing them with delicacies from the oriental world, with a unique menu: from uramaki to burgers, passing through salads, tartare and poke.

But not only that, it is the only Fusion restaurant in Italy with an innovative line dedicated 50% to vegetarians and vegans, with many options for those suffering from coeliac disease.

Green Hole’s wine and coffee are also sustainably produced and any promotion of them tends to raise awareness of environmental issues.

Its dinners often host a mix of shows that are relentlessly emotional, adding just the right ingredients of entertainment.

Green Hole was also created with the aim of creating a space within which different artistic and cultural realities could coexist. The aim is to create a society that is aware of and interested in social, artistic, cultural and environmental issues through an alternative and ‘light’ location.

For more than two years now, the Green Hole has become a real reference point for the Roman society, giving emerging realities the opportunity to have a space in which they can be noticed and exhibit their projects.

From the participation of women’s, social and environmental associations such as Donnexstrada, Margherone Onlus, WWF, Tiba Community and Retake Roma to corporate events, Shl, Iqos, Organics Redbull, As Roma, continuing as a television studio for RAI programmes and arriving at showrooms of emerging brands in the fields of fashion and art.

The Greenhole becomes an integration space where one can become mentally, physically and spiritually aware of oneself.

A community with personalities of all kinds united by a common vision: to raise awareness, disseminate and involve about issues and activities often sidelined by politics and traditional media, actively engaging in the service of the planet.

Effei Clothing with its Wearing Cultures concept fits perfectly into the multicultural context of the Greenhole and that is why it took part in our showrooms organised to connect different realities.

The collaboration with Aurora, founder of Effei, stems from a common desire to combine social and cultural factors to convey an important message. The love of discovering new horizons, travelling and appreciating local craft traditions, sustainability in all its aspects, and much more.”
